"You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today." -Abraham Lincoln
What do I do if I am absent in Mrs. Snow's Class? If you are absent in one of my classes, follow the directions on this page and you will be able to get caught up when you had to leave early or missed class. It is YOUR responsibility to stay informed and to get caught up. The classes cover a lot and if you are gone, you will miss some of the connections and discussions that happen. I understand you have things that come up, but please remember that this website is not a crutch or substitute for class. It is merely a tool to assist. If you are absent, please get your late work done within one to two class periods so that you do not fall behind.
This website will be updated frequently. Please be an independent learner and come here to answer all of your questions. If you do come to me and ask a question, I will redirect you by asking if you went to the website. If you did not, you will be provided the opportunity to develop your "independent learning" skills. I provide the tools, but it is up to you to use them.
When absent, do the following in order: 1. Go to your class's Daily schedule tab to check the day you were absent and what we did. Read it thoroughly. You can find everything that we did on this tab. Complete your Starter and Ender from this page also! 2. Go to the Documents tab to get the work. This will mean looking at the Table of Contents for the Interactive Notebook for each unit. Read all directions. Print things out. Be thorough.
********The most recent class will be at the top of the page. You will have to scroll down to find what you are missing.*********
